As a part of the 20-Year Comprehensive Plan that Rabun County and each incorporated city within the county have been working on, the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission in Gainesville has put together an anonymous survey (see above) to complete and mail in or email to Adam Hazell, GMRC – ahazell@gmrc.ga.gov. You can also bring the surveys to us at City Hall, and we can scan and forward them to Adam.
Here is another chance to give YOUR suggestions on what direction Rabun County and its cities need to take.
Paper copies of the survey are available at City Hall and the Rabun County Courthouse.
Surveys must be returned by March 28, 2014.
Also, please remember that Sky Valley’s 4th public input session is scheduled for March 21, 2014, at 10 AM in the Lakeside Room of the Sky Valley Club. We will specifically be looking at the Future Land Use Plan to be incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan.
